Copper is my metal of choice. It is a pure, natural metal that is also antibacterial, water-resistant and hypoallergenic. Its reasonable price makes it affordable, and no less valuable than other metals, due to its warm orange glow, which ages beautifully with a deep rich tone. Easily treatable, I sometimes apply a permanent antique patina which adds texture and detail to the overall piece.
